Recruiting Seminars

We Play a Vital Role for Athletes Pursuing College Scholarships

We are a nationally renowned program with well-established collegiate relationships throughout the country. We have helped more than 70 players earn college scholarships to play volleyball. Our veteran staff is proactive in assessing our athlete’s opportunities and consulting with families to help them find the right campus match. We help guide and support our high school athletes throughout the collegiate recruitment process.

We are committed to providing opportunities through education, training, and elite tournament play to those players who have the desire and advanced ability to play collegiately. Finding the right “fit” academically, athletically, and personally is important and unique for each athlete. We provide education for the parents and players by hosting “College Recruiting” seminars, along with current materials, in order to help families, navigate their personal process.

Faqs:

  • Do I need to be a member to attend these seminars? NO, these seminars are open to the public.
  • During club season we are contacted on a weekly basis by college recruiters and coaches attempting to fill specific needs.
  • Knowing of your interest to play in college allows us to align your abilities and interests with those college coach’s needs.
  • Our familiarity and relationships with collegiate programs around the country will help us identify additional opportunities for you.
  • Put a list together of colleges that interest you.  Our recruiting seminar will provide you information on how to contact those colleges directly.
  • Our “National” and “Travel” teams compete in national tournaments which provide exposure to our athletes as they are heavily attended by college coaches and recruiters. We encourage our players to provide their schedule to coaches and invite them to our courts.
  • Guidance to update your profile on UniversityAthlete.com (free), which is a database used by most national tournaments, for all levels of college coaches, to get player information.
  • Ultimately, while we can be a guide, it is up to the athlete/family to take charge and get themselves out there through emails, online profiles, videos, phone calls, etc.
  • Talent ultimately is what gets recruited but a strong academic transcript is just as important. College coaches know what they are looking for and you need to provide them as much accessibility to that information as possible.

We are Commitment to Helping You:

  • Playing at the Arizona Saguaros is a great first step. As noted, our national reputation will get you looks. Our “National Coaching Staff” is awesome.
  • We have a recruiting packet full of information developed by our Recruiting Consultants that we will share with you to hopefully make your journey as easy as possible.
  • We recommend you get yourself acquainted with the many external resources available to you before sitting down with a consultant.
  • We’ll help you understand the difference between the different college divisions, such as DI and NAIA and provide an assessment of where we think your athlete might fit.
