Official dates will be posted as soon as we get them. The Arizona Saguaros’ official season begins in November with tryouts and ends in July after USAV and AAU Junior Nationals.
Volleyball “Stay-to-Play” Concept
In volleyball tournaments, “Stay-to-Play” is a participation requirement that requires teams to book lodging through the event’s official housing partner and stay in approved hotels to remain eligible to compete. It is expected that all travel teams participate in the Stay-to-Play requirement of each event. Teams can be removed from any event by the tournament coordinators if they do not comply.

We participate in the Arizona Region of USAV, which is the local league for Arizona. They post dates for the upcoming season in August, but the locations are not yet finalized. That information is not made public until the week of each event. We understand that this can be frustrating; this is not new; it’s been this way for the last 30 years. Sometimes venues can change or be canceled altogether.
